MEET STEPHEN

Propagating The Gospel and Culture of Peace Among School  Students Via Music, Movie, Poem And Drama.

My name is Stephen Ndunaka. , I was a child victim of the Nigeria -Biafra civil war at a tender age of 7 years. I got lost in the bush for six months without parents / guardian. Most of the time famished,   I walked on bare foot for long hours frightened by wide animals.  In all my life after the civil war, I have consistently engaged into pondering and researching on how peace music and peace movie could be used as veritable means of propagating peace in Nigeria/African.    Currently, I have in my possession peace songs and  peace film script that are readily available for studio production.

I was born on December 20th, 1959. I graduated from Obazu grammar school from 1974 - 1979.  I Started work at the famous Police Central Band Ikeja Lagos Nigeria in 1984 under the administrative supervision of the then Director of Music;  Late Bernard Odiase  ( Commissioner of Police rtd )   wherein I  obtained the Graded Examination Certificate of the Royal School of Music London . I had served as a musician under Central Band of Nigeria Police and previously been a keyboardist in several bands particularly under The Late Christy Uduak Essien-Igbokwe.

I had worked with several Christian organizations both locally and oversea.  In the year 2000,  I personally motivated interested Christians to pray and campaigned against the production and sale of pornographic magazines in Lagos State, Nigeria. The campaign was tremendously successful and miraculously drew the attention of the incumbent president then, which resulted in the banning of sales of pornographic films and magazines in the open market. From 2001-2006, I worked in Nigeria as a sole representative in print-partnership with the International Tract Society (ITS)  Garland Texas (USA).

During the challenging times of the Niger Delta Militancy,  I utilized the Facebook (Disabled) to advocate and prayed that a common ground for Nigerian to stand was wherein the government of Nigeria, the multinational oil companies and the people of Niger Delta Region, vis-à-vis the different reactionary groups within the Niger Delta Region come together in mutual trust to pursue a common goal to accelerate the process of healing of individuals, families and tribal wounds through love, trust, unity and forgiveness.

Those believe and trust in God the creator of all human beings as GOOD, worked out the miracle of the Amnesty the Federal Government of Nigeria gave the Niger Delta Militants then. Though my  pacifist itineraries and activities were not made public then, I strongly and  always believe that my "Children Need Peace Campaign Projects" is a veritable means of speaking to the conscience and heart of  Nigeria Government and Militants , campaigning non-violently against armed violence and the relative dangers and aftermaths of armed violence on school student and also to articulate and proffer positive solutions to the menace of aggressive armed conflicts threatening peaceful coexistence in Nigeria presently.
